Konami's emergency Yu-Gi-Oh! list is complete: 34 cards forbidden, 8 limited and 1 semi-limited from Oct 19, the largest list since September 2013
The five-part Forbidden & Limited list Konami announced on October 14 is out in full. YGOrganization posted the parts from the YCS Houston stream as they were revealed: part one on Friday night, part two on Saturday evening, part three just after midnight, part four on Sunday evening, part five at 1:28 AM Monday and a compiled final post at 2:46 AM, by its own timestamps. Every change takes effect Monday, October 19. The totals match the October 14 notice: 34 newly forbidden cards, 8 newly limited, plus one card semi-limited, Sky Striker Mobilize - Engage.
YGOrganization calls it the largest list since the September 2013 TCG list, which it counts at 47 changes but only 33 bans and limits. It also notes that Perfectron Hydradrive Dragon is the first OCG-only card to be limited in the TCG since Sixth Sense on the October 2013 list.

What the names tell a card buyer
The list reaches three kinds of card. Hand traps and generic spells that nearly every deck ran are gone: Called by the Grave, Crossout Designator and Triple Tactics Talent are forbidden, and Droll & Lock Bird is limited. Extra Deck boss monsters that defined formats across a decade are gone: Trishula, Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon, Beelze, Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon, Number 41: Bagooska, Saryuja Skull Dread, Cross-Sheep. And the floodgates, the cards that shut an opponent's deck off, are gone as a group: Anti-Spell Fragrance, Secret Village of the Spellcasters, Gozen Match, Rivalry of Warlords, There Can Be Only One, Spell Canceller, Naturia Beast.
For prices, the generic cards matter most, because they had the widest demand. A hand trap or a floodgate was bought by players of every deck, in multiples, in every rarity it was printed in; a boss monster for one archetype was bought by that archetype's players. Yu-Gi-Oh! singles prices are not tracked in the written sources we use, so this file carries no card-by-card number. The nearest written record is Magic's: when the Commander Rules Committee banned Dockside Extortionist and Mana Crypt in September 2024, MTG Insider reported losses of about 75% and 53.8% the same day, per PureGrail's October 9 review (No. 005 ran the detail). The size of each fall tracked how expensive the card was and how much of its demand came from the format that banned it.
The other direction matters too. A format with 34 fewer cards is a format whose remaining staples absorb the demand, and the limited cards each keep one copy's worth of it. Branded Opening and Branded In High Spirits are limited while Albion the Branded Dragon is forbidden, so the Branded archetype keeps a tournament deck with fewer pieces; Toon Bookmark and Toon Table of Contents at one copy each do the same for Toons.
What to watch
Monday, October 19 is day one of the list and the first weekday Yu-Gi-Oh! singles trade under it. Magnificent Maestros, the set Konami said the list makes room for, reaches stores November 13, per ICv2, and its first tournament weekends will show which of the surviving decks the list was built for. YCS Houston's main event, played Saturday and Sunday on the old list, was the last large event under it.
Figures and card names are as posted by YGOrganization from the YCS Houston 2026 stream, with its own timestamps. Magic price moves are as reported by MTG Insider via PureGrail. This is market data and commentary, not investment advice.
